GT-Maxx Shocks

Large bore GT-Maxx aluminium shocks mount to the towers with 4mm screws for extra strength. X-ring seals glide on large diameter shafts and the spring retainers are secured with screws to stay in place.

High Downforce Rear Wing

Sledges high downforce rear wing puts the airstream to work keeping sledge securely grounded and comes with moulded-in weat pads to protect the wing from ground scraping wheelies.

High Tech Suspension Arms

Formed from Traxxas toughest composite material, heavy duty suspension arms use high grade steel pins that press into the arms for tighter tolerances and less wiggling.

Heavy Duty Chassis Braces

Sledges heavy duty front and rear chassis braces combine with the aluminium chassis and rigid T-bar to create a dynamically strong triangular structure for maximum twist resistance.

Aluminium T-Bar

The unique shaps of Sledges T-Bar brace delivers cross sectional stiffness that no round tube can match. The T-Bar also keys perfectly into the bulkheads so they can absorb impact forces and not the attachment screws

High Strength Aluminium Chassis Plate

Sledges chassis uses flanged edges from bulkhead to bulkhead to eliminate weak points and additional strengthening ribs add extra rigidity in high stress locations. Composite side guards fit tightly to the sides of the chassis for a seamless look.

Rigid Battery Tray

Sleges roomy battery tray accepts a wide varity of 4S and 6S Lipo battery configurations. No clips or straps required.

Aluminium Stand Alone Motor Cradle

Sledge secures its 2000kv brushless motor in place with a wrap around aluminium cradle to eliminate all flex points. Built in bosses make it easy to attach the accessory cooling fan (#3476).

Belted Sledgehammer Tyres

The Sledgehammers thick tread blocks bite into rough terrain for outstanding all-surface grip. Tried and true Traxxas 3.8in beadlock wheels keep the monster tyres locked in place with a vise like grip. Lightweight belting maintains the tyre shape for a larger contact patch, more grip, responsive handling and minimal sidewall ballooning at speed.

6061-T6 Aluminium Shock Towers

Sledges shock towers are cut from 5mm thick 6061-T6 aluminium and tire directly into the center brace for bulletproof strength and rigidity.

6061-T6 Aluminium Hinge Pin Retainers

Heavy duty 6061-T6 aluminium hinge pin retainers hold the hardened steel hinge pins firmly inplace. This allows for higher tolerance than conventional sliding pins and less wiggle in the suspension.

Extreme-Duty Composite Camber and Toe Links

Sledges energy absorbing one piece links return to shpae if flexed and won't pull apart or bend in a crash. They're already pre-set for track worthy handling with optimal camber and toe settings.

Rugged C-Hubs with Double Shear Connections

Sledges rugged C-hub design combines with superior durability and impact resistance with precise steering alignment. Double shear connections keep the toe links securely fastened even during hard hits.

Steel Center Driveshafts

Super solid steel driveshafts deliver power from the torque biasing center driveline to the differentials. Rubber boots on the joints seal in the grease and keep dirt out.

Sealed Bearings

Traxxas has equipped Sledge with oversize rubber sealed bearings throughout the drivetrain to ensure smooth running and lasting precision and performance.

Torque Biasing Center Drive

Traditional center diffs can't handle 6S power. Sledges torque biasing center drive is filled with thick silicone fluid to distribute power evenly for full 6S thrust with every launch and corner exit.

Steel Outer Driveshafts

Solid steel driveshafts transfer Sledges massive 6S power from all the diffs to the wheels via heavy duty dogbones and constant velocity joints in front so you can be as heavy on the throttle and you want.

Steel Gear Differentials

Sledge uses true 6S differentials to handle its fercious power. Oversized coarse pitch steel gears are 20% larger and 75% thicker than traditional 1:8 scale components for lasting performance.

TQi Radio System - Been around for a while now, factory standard in all Traxxas brushless trucks for long range, glitch free performance with a fast frame rate for minimal lag.

Traxxas Stability Management - Works between radio and receiver, in the background, to control oversteer, avoid spinouts and keep the focus on driving. Can be set manually on the multifunction knob for as much or as little assist as you require.

Easy Battery Access -  One battery holder, one snap-lock battery retainer and one or 2 batteries as you want, no clips or straps to make it messy.
