Rapid Right Security

There’s no need to back off the throttle or tone down the fun with Disruptor's Rapid Right security. Take full advantage of 4s Velineon brushless horsepower anytime, anywhere. If Disruptor should land upside down, applying reverse full throttle rights the boat almost instantly and gets you back in the action.

Agile Handling

Disruptor’s perfectly sized hull delivers agile handling for tight turns with equally impressive 40+MPH speed. A new low-CG design concentrates weight inboard along the centerline for perfect weight distribution. Hammer the throttle and Disruptor gets on plane quickly with lightning-fast reflexes and high-speed stability.

New 4S Power System

The Velineon VXL-4s Marine brushless power system is a clean-slate design optimized to deliver maximum thrust on a single 4s LiPo battery. The all-new brushless outrunner motor is a model of efficiency and power, combining thunderous torque with high-RPM speed. Two independent water cooling systems keep temperatures in check for maximum run time.

Injection-Molded ABS Hull

Disruptor’s ABS hull provides the superior strength and rigidity required for high-voltage brushless horsepower without excess weight. The unique injection-molded design features multiple support trusses and ridges for exceptional strength. Molded bosses secure the removable electronics tray in place with minimal hardware for additional weight savings.

High Performance Prop

Disruptors prop gets the boat on plane quickly to reach maximum speed with the least current draw. Moulded composite construction makes the prop light and tough with no balancing or sharpening required.

High Stength Anodised Aluminium Hardware

Disruptors rudder and drive strut are manufactured from tough 6000 series aluminium for maximum strength and then anodised in Traxxas signature blue. The drive strut uses special oiled bushings for corrosion free performance.

Stainless Steel Hex Hardware

Disruptor uses corrosion resistant stainless steel and nickle plated screws throughout the boat for easy maintenance and longevity.

Stainless Steel Turn Fins & Trim Tabs

Dual turn fins and trim tabs are vital for tuning and maximum performance in Disruptor. These parts are precision die cut from stainless steel and bent into shape, they allow for aggressive cornering bite and proper hull attitude for optimum performance.

Dual Water Inlets & Outlets

Dual water pickups in the hull route cooling water to the motor and the ESC independently and a dual outlet on the rear transom of the boat vents the warm water.

Clipless Latching System

Disruptor comes with four low profile hatch nuts to securely hold the rigid abs hatch in place and the tool to use them, it also comes with a set of wingnuts for toolless installation if desired.

26in Deep-V Hull

The deep-V hull is guaranteed to cut a slice through smooth or choppy water and get up on the plane for ultimate speed in all driving conditions. 

Flex Cable Drive System

Originally designed by Traxxas for outrageous 6S lipo, the flex cable has proved almost infallible with the proper maintenence and will provide all day fun for Disruptor too. Disruptors motor tray sits further back than similar sized boats allowing for a shorter flex cable and more direct access to the prop.

Waterproof Steering Servo

The rudder servo is Traxxas long time tried and true 2056 servo, with 6kg of torque and waterproof sealing o-rings throughout.

Quick Release Flex Cable System

A clamping collet holds Disruptors flex cable tightly and centers it perfectly on the motor so there is no loss of power or drive. The clamping collet can be quickly and easily released for flexshaft maintenance by use of the included spanners. Once loosened the driveshaft and prop simply slide out the rear.

Brushless Outrunner Motor

Disruptor comes with a 14-pole brushless outrunner motor with ultra high temperature neodymium magnets, a precision balanced rotor, high speed bearings and a 5mm shaft. (kv rating unspecified)

VXL-4S Marine ESC

The marine grade ESC uses a single 4S (14.8V) Lipo battery for maximum 40mph (64km/h) or is suitable for a 3S (11.1V) or 2S (7.4V) Lipo. It features an oversized aluminium heatsink with integrated water cooling for reliable all day performance. The Marine VXL-4S also has Traxxas patented Training Mode for 50% speed reduction for novices.

Waterproof Electronics

All the electrical equipment included in Disruptor are waterproof, motor, servo, ESC and receiver are all manufactured to be waterproof or are sealed away.

Built-In Foam Flotation

Buil-in fltation foam makes sure your boat will stay afloat, no matter what happens, she's virtually unsinkable and the foam also adds some rigidity to the hull.
