High-Angle Steering

4-Tec Drift Drift provides over 60° of steering angle at full lock to enable big sideways drifts and quick transitions. The front suspension is specially tuned for drifting with new steering blocks, bellcranks and a drag link optimized for maximum throw.

Customizable Drift Modes

Only 4-Tec Drift lets you choose between three customizable drift modes. Innovative TSM Drift technology replaces old-fashioned drift gyros with smooth precise control that can be fine tuned with the Traxxas Link app. New drivers can drift like a pro without specialized knowledge or skills, and advanced enthusiasts will enjoy the refined controls for even smoother performance.

Clipless Ford Mustang Body

4-Tec Drift raises the bar for durability, ease of use, and scale detail with an all-new clipless Ford Mustang body. Body mounts integrate neatly into the molded hood vents and rear spoiler for extra reinforcement and a seamless look.

TQi Radio with Wireless Module

A Traxxas Link Wireless Module is included to harness the full potential of 4-Tec Drift’s powerful TSM drift modes. Use the full-color graphical interface to personalize the 3-channel TQi radio’s settings and unlock its advanced tuning features. Tap the handbrake button on the side to initiate rotation and begin your drift.

Hard and Soft Compound Tires Included

4-Tec Drift is designed for maximum versatility with two sets of 1.9″ drift tires included in the box. Use the factory-installed hard compound tires on any hard abrasive surface like pavement or cement. The included soft compound tires provide refined drift control on polished surfaces.

New Rear-Wheel-Drive Platform

4-Tec Drift rides on a new rear-wheel-drive platform based on the responsive 200 mm 4-Tec chassis. The front bulkhead and suspension are all new to provide optimal drift geometry and over 60° of steering angle. Drivers can take advantage of individual settings for caster, roll center, ackerman, track width, and more.

The out-of-the-box settings are tuned to accommodate the widest range of drivers and surfaces. It is not recommended to adjust these settings until the driver becomes familiar with the car. As driving skill increases, TSM Drift settings offer innovative new tuning for different surface conditions and driving styles.

Wheels & Tyres

Stylish 6-spoke wheels feature a rubber inner liner with grooves to hold the tyres securely in place and making tyre swaps a breeze.

Oil Filled Ultra Shocks

4-Tec drift rides on oil filled ultra shocks utilising x-ring tech for a perfect seal and smooth performance. Ultra shocks are fully tunable with a range of pistons and shock oils available for customisation and feature sping clips to change ride height and pre-load. New super soft springs allow load transfer for perfect drifts.

Adjustable Rear Camber

Adjustable steel turnbuckles allow for quick and easy adjustment of rear camber and 4-Tec drift comes with two mounting points for the rear turnbuckles to allow for different body shells.

Rear Spool Diff

4-Tec Drift comes with a rear spool with 48 pitch gears cut with a 5° spiral for smooth even and quiet running.

Fixed Gear Mesh System

4-Tec Drift has a fixed position meshing system for a no mess, no fuss power transition. The Motor fits to a plate which drops into a slot, it just couldn't be easier to properly mesh your gears.

Steel Driveshafts

One piece steel driveshafts save weight and send power directly to the wheels for lightening quick response times whilst extended drivecups offer maximum possible articulation and durability.

Moulded Wire Retainer

The electrical wire retainer is screw fixed and keeps the motor to ESC wires securely in place and out of harms way.

Titan 21T Drift Motor

With 123 turns of pure copper wire, the new Titan motor delivers smooth, predictable, reliable power at any rpm to initiate a slide with a blip of the throttle. An internal fan draws cooling air through the motor whilst it's running allowing for longer run times and cooler electrics.

XL-5 Waterproof ESC

Traxxas XL-5 ESC has stood the test of time. It goes in all their brushed RC cars except the TRX-4 range and has been extremely reliable. XL-5 comes with 3 programmable driving modes:

• Sport Mode - 100% speed forward, 100% speed reverse
• Race Mode - 100% speed forward but no reverse (disallowed in race conditions)
• Training Mode - 50% speed forward, 100% reverse

and is capable of running 7.2V or 8.4V Nimh batteries or 7.4V Lipo with LVD on.

Low CG Chassis

Smooth efficient drifting requires smooth efficient air flow so 4-Tec Drift comes on a low center of gravity chassis for minimum air resistance. Three interlocking chassis modules allow 4-Tec drift to be easily disassembled for quick repair and maintenance and provide essential chassis rigidity to keep all four wheels on the ground.

Steering Servo

4-Tec Drift comes with a standard 2075 servo with 9kg of torque and water sealed with o-rings throughout.

Other Traxxas Features

Like all Traxxas cars, 4-Tec Drift comes with an adjustable battery strap for taller aftermarket batteries, a waterproof, o-ring sealed receiver box and a 6519 receiver with fail-safe security, so that if your transmitter batteries run flat the car won't drive away on its own.
