The Kyosho Fazer D2 Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86 1/10 2WD Brushed RTR Drift Car is a new line for Kyosho, a variant on the proven Fazer Mk.II chassis, a 2WD drift machine designed for radio control enthusiasts.

Combining a specially crafted chassis with advanced electronics and a highly detailed body, this model offers exceptional realism and smooth performance. With easy-to-adjust settings and a ready-to-run package, it caters to both beginners and seasoned drift drivers alike.

Advanced Electronics for Smooth Drifting

The Fazer D2 comes equipped with cutting-edge electronics that elevate its drift performance. A meticulously designed KRG-331D receiver with a built-in gyro unit ensures precise control over steering and throttle, allowing for effortless drifting. The 60A Kyosho Speed House ESC provides three driving modes including forward, brake, and reverse, while the KS4072-06W servo, specifically designed for this car, works in harmony with the gyro for optimal counter-steer control. Completing the setup is a powerful G22 22T brushed 540 size motor, all mounted to optimize weight distribution for improved stability.

Adjustable Drift Chassis

Kyosho's carefully designed drift chassis provides unmatched adjustability and performance. The resin main chassis is divided into front and rear sections, allowing users to modify the wheelbase from 240mm to 274mm. This adaptability ensures compatibility with a variety of body types. The rear drive unit features a rigid spool axle without a differential, enhancing smooth drifting. Adjustable suspension settings, including caster angle and roll center, let users fine-tune handling to their preference.

Ultra-Realistic Scale Body

Faithful to the iconic Toyota AE86 Trueno, the ultra-scale body on the Fazer D2 showcases meticulous attention to detail. Molded plastic front and rear bumpers, manually retractable headlights (can also be operated from the 3rd channel on your transmitter if you install an optional micro servo), and detailed light buckets create a visually stunning model. Kyosho's innovative concealed body mounts eliminate protruding posts, preserving the sleek, authentic appearance. Wheels & Tyres - Sam Watanabe 8-spoke drift wheels come with plastic drift tyres and provide the optimal balance of drift slide and control.

Replica Brake Discs - Wheel hubs are decorated with dummy brake calipers and discs, dramatically elevating the scale appearance. The rear drive unit uses a spool (rigid) axle without a differential function to support smooth drifting

Retractable Headlights - If you install the optional Micro Servo #ON-MS18, the headlights can be operated from a 3rd channel on your transmitter.

Concealed Body Mounts - New concealed body mounting system for more scale realism and the ability to mount optional body shells.

Adjustable Chassis Length - Chassis is made in front and rear sections which can be slid together or apart for a longer or shorter wheelbase. Chassis length 240mm to 274mm.

Adjustable Battery Holder - Battery holder can be adjusted for regular size Lipo packs or Shorty Packs.

Steering Geometry - Long-span front double wishbone suspension provides plenty of steering angle with adjustable caster, roll center, and other geometry.

Adjustable Ackerman Plate - Adjustable 2 ways, normal and quick response steering.

Adjustable Caster Angle - Select 5°, 7° or 9° by swapping out parts on the suspension mount set (FA612) and changing the orientation of the parts.

Adjustable Front Roll Center - 2 way adjustable

Adjustable Motor Mounting Position - Standard midship mount or flip it up for a high mount motor. Motor mount plate design eliminates the need for tricky gear meshing by providing 2 slots to mesh your gears properly.

48P Gearing - Smooth running and tough, the motor plate allows for pinion gears from 16T to 37T (stock gear is 24T) with the stock 84T Spur Gear.

Innovative Gear Box - Advanced drift stability is achieved through the special 4-gear design that utilises the motor's counter torque to maximize rear traction and grip.

Rear Drive Spool Diff - The Gear Box uses a spool (rigid) axle without a differential function to support smooth drifting by applying equal amounts of power to left and right side wheels regardless of whether they are on the ground or not. (Optional Ball Diff available #UMW602B)

Shocks - Oil filled hydraulic shocks fitted as standard

Bearings - 16 bearings provide the smoothest drivetrain possible with the least amount of power lost through drag

Drift Receiver with inbuilt Gyro - Equipped with a newly developed KRG-331D receiver incorporating built-in gyro unit optimized for drift driving. The gyro moderates both steering and throttle (speed control), and the gain (sensitivity) of each can be adjusted with a dial.

Electronic Speed Control - Large capacity 60A KYOSHO SPEED HOUSE ESC (super plug connector) features three modes: FWD/Brake/REV (initial setting). FWD/Brake, and FWD/REV. The ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) is mounted at the rear of the car to optimise weight distribution for drifting. The ESC is fixed in a special tray that can be removed with a single screw for easy maintenance.

22T G22 540 size Brushed Motor - Equipped with G22 22T brushed 540-size motor with easy to manage power settings.

Syncro KT-231P+ Transmitter - Just as you would expect from a top end brand, the transmitter has fully adjustable throttle trim, throttle end points, steering trim, steering end points and channel reverse switches.

Steering Servo - New KS4072-06W servo delivers ideal steering characteristics for drift driving and works in combination with newly developed gyro unit that produces optimal counter-steer control.Additionally, the servo is easy to replace. (No servo specs available from manufacturer)
